THIS MEETING IS OPEN TO MEMBERS & VISITORS, PLEASE COME & JOIN IN ON OUR INFORMAL EVENING & maybe make some new friends.
THE SPINNING & WEAVING WORKSHOP WILL BE A VERY HANDS ON EVENT. A SHORT INTRODUCTION WILL BE GIVEN BY ONE OF OUR MEMBERS. PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITY TO ASK QUESTIONS AND PRACTICE…..ANY SAMPLES YOU MAY HAVE MANAGED TO DO WILL BE YOURS TO TAKE HOME WITH YOU.
THERE WILL BE SPINNING WHEELS & LOOMS AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE TO HAVE A GO ON, ASSISTED BY TWO EXPERIENCED WEAVERS.
AS ALWAYS REFRESHMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE – HAVE FUN X

Now, I have heard Dr Gillian Wright give a talk before and let’s just say it is a very lively talk and no one will drop off to sleep!!!
So, looking forward to seeing you at out next meeting, there will be no competition but as usual a fabulous cake and a hot drink!
Christmas Meeting!

Because we all enjoyed our Skittles Evening at the Butcher’s Arms, Mickleton last year. The Christmas Meeting will be a SKITTLES NIGHT & a Cold Buffet
More information will be available there will be a sign up sheet so please try to come, it was such good fun.

Honeybees ‘Open Meeting’ Monday 16th April

Honeybees would like to welcome none members and members of other WI branches to our Open Meeting.
We have arrange a fun evening, members of the Belle d’Vain Morris Dancers will be doing a demonstration and then ‘We’ can have a go! I am sure they will be looking for new recruits so all you need to do is get the legs and feet working in time with the music!
The cost for visitors will be £4.00 this will include refreshments.
If you have time why not have a go at making a Morris Dancing style hat to wear on the night. Just to get into the spirit of the evening.
The Competition: Best decorated hat which is to be worn whilst dancing
